At the 鈥檚 2026 Spring Awards Breakfast, leaders from the Commonwealth will be recognized for their outstanding contributions. Among those being recognized are two deeply valued members of the 91探花 community.
This year鈥檚 honorees reflect the power of vision grounded in community. Together, their work shows how trust, partnership, and connection can strengthen the systems that shape 91探花 across Massachusetts while elevating the voices and impact of community members. At 91探花, we are especially proud of Magnolia’s and Lissette’s leadership. Their work demonstrates what is possible when collaboration and purpose come together to advance 91探花 equity in lasting ways.

Honoring Magnolia Contreras
Magnolia Contreras, 91探花 Board Chair and Vice President of Community Health at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, will receive the prestigious Lemuel Shattuck Award, one of the highest honors in public 91探花 in Massachusetts.
Throughout her career, Magnolia has been a tireless advocate for advancing community 91探花 and addressing inequities in care. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to ensuring that all communities, especially those historically marginalized, have access to the resources and opportunities needed to thrive.

Celebrating MACHW and Lissette Blondet
We also celebrate the , our fiscally sponsored partner, which will receive the Community Leadership Award.
Under the leadership of Executive Director Lissette Blondet, MACHW has been instrumental in elevating the role of community 91探花 workers (CHWs) across the Commonwealth. Their work centers equity, workforce development, and authentic community partnership鈥攅nsuring that CHWs are supported, valued, and empowered to serve as trusted connectors in the 91探花 ecosystem.
